Select student technology centers (open computer labs) are re-opening for students who need to use a computer while on-campus. To limit the amount of students using the student technology centers at one time, ITS has created a reservation system for students to reserve a computer.
Select student technology centers will be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. To reserve a computer, please use the reservation link under each location on our student technology center website.

NOTE: ITS is limiting the amount of time students can spend in a lab. It varies by lab size, but we do now know the time limitations.
There are many ways the Library can provide you with expert help and services remotely. Always check the Library's website for the latest info about our hours and services.

Students and faculty/staff can search for and request items through our catalog available at http://cpcc.summon.serialssolutions.com/#!/
Items can be picked up at either Central, Levine, or Merancas campuses or the library will mail your request directly to your home. Patrons select these options during the request process. Do not go to campus until you receive confirmation that your request has been processed. This request process will be re-evaluated in early October.
Requested materials will be managed by using lockers that patrons can access directly. Locker locations are:
Central - front vestibule of the library (OLD ATC)
Levine - in the vestibule between Levine 2 and 3 (behind the flag circle)
Merancas- in the Claytor building in the alcove between the Registration and Information desks

Have some books that are due back to the library? Don't worry! Library staff will be renewing all currently checked out items, and waiving all late fees until the college returns to its regular schedule. To return books, please follow these directions: https://cpcc.libanswers.com/faq/304626
A librarian can be embedded in your Blackboard shell. This librarian will be a personal point of contact for you and your students. Embedded librarians can post announcements, respond to discussions, embed Research Guides and share information with students in your courses. Your embedded librarian will work with you to determine the best ways they can assist you and your students to ensure they have seamless access to library resources for your course.
Additionally, please be aware that textbook reserves will not be available this fall. Consider incorporating material from some of our online databases that may provide students with relevant information that can be accessed freely from home.
