Basic digital literacy skilling is what you obtain when you can use and teach yourself basic software. Examples are MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Workforce digital literacy skilling is the specialty software used for specific industries, i.e., accounting, engineering, manufacturing. This type of software and or hardware tools go beyond the basic software and often require safe operating behavior when associated with a machine or tool in a class or laboratory. Workforce Digital Literacy software is associated with industry specific for specific jobs certification or projects. Examples are: AutoCad, SPSS, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
