Borrowing Privileges
All Central Piedmont Community College students, faculty, and staff, are eligible to borrow materials from the library. Those not affiliated with the college may use library materials within the library.
In order to check out materials, users will need one of the following:

- Government-issued photo ID (expiration irrelevant)
- Knowledge of Central Piedmont ID number
In the case of students not being able to come to campus themselves, they may lend their ID to a representative, such as a family member, to check items out on their behalf. The representative will need to have the Student ID card or number from the student, and will also be expected to show their own government-issued ID (or Central Piedmont ID) to check out on behalf of the student.
For employees, items on hold may be checked out if the person picking up knows the name of the person who reserved the item.
